Chicago police responded to a shots fired call Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood where at least four victims were shot, including a 13-year-old girl.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., the victims told officers they were at a business in the 1500 block of West 51st Street when they heard gunfire and windows breaking,
A 13-year-old girl suffered lower back injuries and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition. A 29-year-old woman was taken to the same hospital and listed in critical condition with a neck injury. His condition was later upgraded to good. Another woman, 57, was hit in the middle finger of her right hand and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
